To whom it may concern:
I am writing to follow up on my colleague's email to emphasize the importance of giving careful consideration to the concerns raised by our constituents and the supporting evidence they have submitted regarding Legacy Recovery Center's application. The documented history of Legacy Recovery Center's failure to meet operating standards, maintain adequate staffing, and ensure the safety of residents and the surrounding community is deeply concerning. Equally troubling is the extensive record of violations, fines, and licensing deficiencies documented by state and local governments, including instances in which the facility allegedly operated without the required licensure.
These concerns are further heightened by the proposed location of the facility within a rural residential neighborhood in the Town of Mukwonago. Given this history, I respectfully urge the Department to carefully review “Exhibit A-6.19.26,” which details these documented deficiencies. At a minimum, this record warrants significant caution in evaluating the application. The documented pattern of violations and risks to public safety provides a compelling basis for denying the application.
Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Thank you.
